Today I'm going to review Mukashi no Kareshi no Oniichan to Tsukiau to Iu Koto by Team KIV, which is the b-side on Type B of HKT48's 3rd single ''Sakura Minna de Tabeta''.
Actually, I'm not going to review Team H's song. I mean, it's an okay song and the video is cool, but this one is soo much better. Team KIV has my favourite members (okay, Sasshi is in H, but except for that. Oh, and it's the last time we will see Tani in an HKT video..) and I like their concept a lot more than Team H's one. Adding to that, it's exhausting to review every 48group song that is released in late febuary to march. (Seriously why do they release a single EACH week??) So yeah, HKT48 doesn't really have the best songs out of the bunch.
But back to Mukashi no Kareshi no Oniichan to Tsukiau to Iu Koto. It is somehow a really odd song. The beginning melody is sooo freaking cool.. I love that classic electronic style and it sounds awesome. Then the verses. OMG, the verses sound so edgy and actually deep!! But the chorus is just the usual fun melody one would expect from HKT. Hello? Who wrote the song? This doesn't fit at all!!!! I mean, the chorus would probably sound good with other verses, but the verses were so cool and the chorus is too cute for them.. Eeeeh.. why?
I still like the song, and I'd like to listen to a remix with another chorus or something.. xD
Also, the title has a pretty odd name: Dating the Older Brother of My Ex-Boyfriend. I couldn't find the translation of the whole song yet, but it seems to be pretty interesting..
But now on to the video:

Okay, the video was pretty interesting. I like the backwards running of the girls and even though the plot wasn't that interesting it was funny to watch the memebrs. And of course the best thing was the dance shot. I really like the outfits and the girls look so fierce there! Even Mio, who always looks like a baby. Oh and Anna totally rocked these scenes!!!
But the video didn't have ANYTHING to do with the song title.. LOL. But perhaps it is betetr like this.. ;)
I like the video and I totally love half of the song, so yeah..
This is definetely more interesting than some of their other b-sides..
