Bland Elephants - Himitsu no Diary

Today I'm going to review the song ''Himitsu no Diary'' which is the exclusive B-side of Type B from AKB48's single ''Mae Shika Mukanee''.

This song is sung by the group ''Baby Elephants'' that consits of all the little girls from the centers Juri, Yuka and Ryoka to even our little HKT48 loli Nako-chan! xD What did I say? Tano Yuka is flanking Juri, who is the center. YESSSS!! It's not as good as being the real center but this is sooo great nevertheless. Juri seems  to be another pushed girl, the same with Ryoka and a lot of the other girls, so this group is still made up of the pushes. But it's not as overpushed as the lions. ;) So as I'm REALLY happy that Yuka is in this song, I'm actually not the biggest fan of it.

This is one of these slower but not ballady songs that sound relaxing but also a bit generic. Sorry, but for me there's NOTHING interesting or new in this song.. It's not a bad song and it's not the girls' fault. But I don't know, it's just not my type of song..

The first scene is at a muddy football field. It's raining so our little Juri has an umbrella..

OMG, they look both so tiny.. and cute xD

Yuka also climbs on Juri's bike and Ryouka pushed it from behind.
Seems like these three are best friends. Which is cool, because they are also pretty good friends in real life.

Mion is sooo freaking cute. *-* I always thought her profile picture looked awesome, but now she actually also looks awesome here ^^

So this video is pretty cute. Juri is obviously the center as she has the most important role. She somehow writes with an uknown person through the book. And yeah, that's the only thing that happens in the video. Okay, it's a cute story, but not the most interesting one. I'm happy that at least Yuka and Ryoka have bit screentime. The rest, well they don't appear that much.. :'D I don't like that most of the attention is on Juri. I mean, why couldn't they show the others more? She's cute, I know.. but arrgh..
Aaaanyways.. The video matches the song.. lol.. they are both a bit bland, but together it fits!

All in all I'm not the biggest fan of this song + video, but the members are cute and I love Yuka so yeah.. :'D Certainly not the best release on this single but yeah.. :)
