SKE48 wants to escape

Lastly it' SKE48's coupling song of AKB48's single ''Suzukake Nanchara''. The song is called ''Escape'' and is included in the Type S.

A big difference is of course the center: Yamada Mizuho!! We already know her from Zakuro.. and she was just recently being promoted to Team KII so she also belongs to the new generation. BUT she isn't a Kenkyusei like the centers of the other group songs, she isn't even from the newest generation, since she is a 5th gen. But we do have two 6th gens in the line-up: Ryouha (seems like she is a regular now) and Azuma Rion. Wait, what? RION!???? OMG, this is awesome. *cough* I don't really know her, but she has been pretty cool in ''Itsunomanika..'' and she plays the piano!!!

The rest of the line up is the same as in ''Sansei Kawaii''. Yes, it's an 18nin line-up.. ;)

Coming to the song now, ''Escape'' is actually pretty badass. Like, it's soooo freaking cool with its rather electronic style but still fast paced rocking style!! Rion plays an E-piano here (yeah, she rocks it!!) so there is a heavy E-piano sound allmost all the time. This is really an awesome dance song and even though the voices sound a bit quirky at some times, the members mastered it very good and seem very professional.

But let's talk about the dance-heavy video now:

The first thing we see is the amazing e-piano. And of course that's Rion who is playing it!

Well, what an awesome video. Okay, it was only the dance shot but this was soo awesome!!!! It was dark, the dance was badass and the members looked so cool (most of them). Even Mizuho didn't look badass in the end anymore. But I do think she still isn't ready for such a hard video to be the center. To me it felt more like the usual Jurina/ Rena center, since these two had much more amazing screen time and more charisma (even Rena, who looks creepy in some shots). Out of the group songs this is definetely the one with the least center/new gen concentrated. Hell, even Rion had more memorable shots than Mizuho. So perhaps we can see Rion as the real new gen representive?? xD
Anyways, great video with sadly a lack of Airin (agaiin) but amazing shots!! I definetely like this B-side the most of the Suzukake Nanchara b-sides, and it's also the reason why I bought Type S. ;)
