AKB48 is back once again with their yearly summer and election single. It is called ''Sayonara Crawl''. Well....... I'm not too found of this song.. it's kinda boring... It grew a bit on me but not that much.. Okay, the chorus sounds good, but nothing exceptional. I'm waiting for another hit-single, girls....
The bikinis don't make it better. Once they were the reason I didn't want to listen to anything AKB related but here they are just unnecessary. And the whole flower thing is a bit too much.. Why can't they just put them in summer dresses on the beach or something like that (look at SKE48's 'Gomen ne Summer' and 'Aishiteraburu'.. they didn't need bikinis to make it look like it's summer..). *sigh*
Okay, I guess I have to except it.. At least they didn't put Meru and Mio etc. in bikinis (but the swim suits they have look odd xD). Jurina also still has special treatment even though she's 16 now..
The video is directed by Ninagawa Mika, the director of 'Heavy Rotation' and 'Sugar Rush'. I loved the video for 'Sugar Rush' and the video for Hebirote was okay.. The video for 'Saynoara Crawl' is also pretty fun and colourful like these PV's.

Okaaaay, the video was a bit fun, but still: too many bikinis, too many flowers and too many colours.. The Yuri was funny (especially Oshiri sisters, TomoParu and JuriMari, because they are really good friends), but some pairings were odd..
All in all it's okay, but not that great.. It's fun to watch at least^^
BUT, the single doesn't only include the song 'Sayonara Crawl', so I will talk about the other songs, too.
First of is the Under Girls song ''Bara no kajitsu''. The girls in this song are all younger girls that should be the 'new faces' like Karen, Yuka, Tomu etc. The centers are Kojima Natsuki, Okada Nana and Kojima Mako. In this song are a few Kenkyuusei and I have yet to discover most them. But i DO know the ones from the teams and I took a great liking into Okada Nana through the video. It's nice to see not only the same members as the centers in Under Girls songs sinceit were usually the members that got now in 'Sayonara Crawl' (Like Kawaei Rina, Tashima Meru, Iriyama Anna etc..)
I really, really like this song. It is more mature and different from the 'cute' songs the Under Girls normally get, but the young members master this image pretty good without being too sexy or something.

Next we have Team A's song ''Ikiru Koto''. I really like Team A's Songs, there is actually NO song I don't like by them (song that was released on singles, I mean). And this song is again like this! Yeay.
This time we have a sad and depressive song. It starts off pretty slow, but gets more powerful with the chorus and the guitars. The song builds up and gets really intense after a while. It sounds really cool and makes you think a bit. But Team A still keeps their classy image even though some of the members get a bit psycho in the video.
The video starts of with Mayuyu. Grown up Mayu by the way. Since she has been moved to Team A she seems so mature and not cute anymore...
Depressive Takamina is all by herself on the top of the roof. Her make-up is very heavy but it kinda fits her.. xD
Oh, Mariko-sama. Why are you so beautiful? But she looks so sad with this rainy background.. I like their fashion here.. It's different, but I like it.

I think the meaning is that everyone feels sad in the inside but can't show it. Like, Rina is pretending to be happy, but in the inside she's sad. Everyone is alone and desperated inside.
Perhaps it refers to their life as an Idol. They have to be pretty and happy but inside they are sad and alone. The alien/ monster thing is like them. It's like no one can see when they need help and feel bad..

Next we have Team Ks 'How Come?'.
This song is an electronic song, something we don't hear that often from AKB. It is sung rather powerful, Team K is known for that and really good doing it! They make this song sound very interesting, even though it isn't the best song here. But the chorus is definetely one of the catchiest on this single.
The video is a bit strange. There are many different scenes and it looks a bit low budget. But it's also interesting enough to keep you watching and it kinda fits the song. The dance is also very cool.

Wow, the dance looks decent. But I don't like the camera angle very much.. it's ok, but it looks more like only a dance shot and we can't recognize the members that good.

The song is very good and the cool dance matches it. The video is a bit different from our usual PV with many solo shots and stills where the members just stare into the camera. It is a fanservice video, especially when they play with the camera. As much as I like Jurina and Yuko, I'm still not happy with them (+Tomochin) dominating everything... Team K is my favourite Team, so I want to see everyone of them!!
Well, the song is badass, even though it is a very electronic song and after 'Yuuhi Marie' and 'Scrap and Build' it is a very nice change. It's nice to see a different AKB through this song and i really like it.
Next we have ''Romance Kenjuu'', the Team B song. Wow, no cute and happy song for Team B? We don't have a funny cute song yet, even Team B gets a rather sexy song. There are heavy guitars and the members are singing in a sexy way. This theme clearly doesn't fit everyone, but it is nice to see a change.
The video is matching the song, as it includes pistols and the members being sexy and all.

This video clearly isn't as interesting as the other videos. It looks pretty cheap. Somehow Under Girls, A and K got all the budget and B didn't get much.. There are also many members that can't look sexy here (PARURU!!). Others though are really good here (Ume-chan, Ran Ran and Yukirin). It's the type of song and video, that fits especially Haruna. All in all, I'm not too much into this song + video yet. Sorry, Team B, but you're still my least favourite team..
Last but not least we have the BKA48 song ''Haste and Waste''. BKA48 is made out of the Bakas, the stupid ones of AKB48. The baka center is Kawaei Rina. (seriously, why does this girl keep appearing everywhere? I can see her making Senbatsu or at least Under Girls this year!!)
Oh, here we have our cute song.. I almost thought we don't have any.. (except for 'Sayonara Crawl' of course).

All in all, this single is quite good. Don't jugde a single by it title track!! There could be hidden gems like here.. I pretty much love 'Bara no Kajitsu', 'Ikiru Koto' and 'How come?' the same. All of these three songs and videos are very, very good. 'Sayonara Crawl', Romance Kenjuu' and 'Haste and Waste' are okay songs, that are all nice to listen to, but not that special.
