T-ara with the Number 9!!

On October 10th T-ara came back with their mini-album ''Again''. Due to Ahreum's departure a few months ago, this is the first album in a long time that only consists of the 6 original members. Well, I think this is cool because it kinda brings them back to the basics and will probably bring a bit of nostalgia!

But now onto the title song. There are actually two title songs this time: ''Number 9'' and ''I know the feeling'', so I will talk about both of them!
First one is ''Number 9''. This song combines everything that makes T-ara so popular: A catchy beat, a sorrowful chorus and addicting voices. The instruments even remind me a bit of ''Sexy Love''. This isn't a bad thing though, because it sounds really cool. Yes, T-ara has done it again, bringing aut one of the catchiest songs of the year!! I especially really like the equal singing time of everyone. Of course certain members got more than other, but everyone has a good solo.. I actually also really like the Japanese version! Definitely worth a listen!!
Of course we also have to speak about the video. T-ara often has very good videos with a lot of drama included. So let's see what this video looks like:

The video begins a bit different from the actual MV. All the girls are dressed in beautiful dresses and it's really dark.

But then the actual song starts and they start to dance. Now they have sexier clothes.

Soyeon is shown in a different room. She looks really good!

Qri - our new leader!! :D

Hyomin!!

Eunjung!!

Jiyeon!!

And Boram!!
It's nice that everyone got a solo shot in the beginning! And they all look good!

Jiyeon's eyes always look so pretty cool!!!

OMG, different eye colours!! Thanks to contacts ;)

Not trying to be bias.. but doesn't Eunjung look really bad ass here?? xD

Okay.. this dance move is really funny ;D

Yeay, Soyeon rocking the chorus!!

It looks really cool how everyone stands and only Eunjung kneels down in front of them!

Sexy curtain pulling.. Yeay.. :'D

Dead? It's Hyomins tattoo. This is pretty derious though..

Awesome Qri!

Boram looks so cute! I can'r believe she's 27!!

Jiyeon: Touch ma body!!

The individual scenes get more intense now. Being the good actress she is, Jiyeon obviously looks really good in her role!

And she is even more beautiful!

Eunjung is also a good actress I think!

Eunjung: Don't mess with me!!!

Waaaah! her eyes look so cool!!

Even more self touching.. it's K-pop ;)

Nothing against Soyeon, but you can slowly see her age ;)
Still, she's very beautiful!!

Yeah, burn the house down!!

Yes right, Boram has been in a bath tube the whole time.. :'D

*-*

Jiyeon goes crazy now..

Is it just me or does Boram look a bit Japanese??

Does everyone want to burn the house now??

Qri eating cherry blossoms.. why not :'D

Bath tube FTW!!

Jiyeon can look pretty creepy if she wants..

- The end -

What a nice PV. The dance is really good and it's also nice to see how everyone gets emotionally in their room ending pretty desperate with burning it.. Yeah, there isn't a real plot, but I guess it goes well with the lyrics..
Oh, there is also another version of the MV.. This is actually the history, so will there be even more drama???

A truck is driving through the desert..

And of course the members are sitting in it..

Yeay, even more desert..

The trucks finally stopped..

And the girls go out now.. (there is no real story... -.-)

Qri!

Hyorim..

Eunjung!! xD

Qri is totally rocking this video!!

Ooooookay... This wasn't overwhelming. And I thought they would put another ''Cry Cry'' or ''Day by Day''.. Weeeeell, at least it was shot beautiful and everyone looks good..
But I really prefer the actual music video because of the cool dance and the emotional scenes that contain much more acting than the desert scenes.. But overall it is a great title song with a very good video!!

But there's also the other title song: ''I know the feeling''. This is a very different type of T-ara songs, something they also did before: a ballad. Yeah, it's still very typical but also beautiful at the same time! The melody is pretty serious and a bit edgy. The voices are very good and I'm actually really surprised by the amount of singing time for Boram!!
I don't have that more to say about the song, so let's look at the video now!!

The same dark room from the beginning of the Number 9 MV or what?? xD
Well, the clothes are different. And why are Jiyeon and Eunjung the only ones who have a blue dress??
I will comment about the video at the end..

This video is really beautiful and visually eppaealing. It doesn't show more than the girls standing and singing, so it's very simple.. But it's done nicely and goes well with the song. It's just nice to look at and adds even more to the cool sound.

Because this is only a mini-Album, there aren't many Songs. ''Hurt'' is a really slow ballad and is really slow, while ''Don't get married'' is a more upbeat and fun song.
The ''Number Nine (Club Version)'' is also interesting even though there isn't that much of a change.. (But I prefer the original version) xD

So all in all I'm pretty happy with this comeback! It was worth waiting so long for it and the 6 member line up is really nice now! I hope this showed everyone that T-ara is still alive and that they will continue to be in the k-pop scene even longer!!
