Mirai to wa?

Today I will review ''Mirai to wa?'', the A-side of SKE48's 14th single!

First of all, the line-up for this single is pretty interesting. We have the usual key members minus Manatsu, because she already announced her graduation before that (still, I think they could have included her, right?). Then there are the new pushed members Azumarion and Mizuho, that were already included in 'Escape' before. But then there's also a surprise member: Umemoto Madoka! Wow, seems like her high ranking in sousenkyou finally caused her to be included in a single! I'm so happy for her.. :D Working hard for the group does help your rank after all..

About the song, it isn't the most interesting song ever, but is a very nice track. It isn't as fast as many other SKE songs, so I think it is a very good change. Also, the sound fits the whole what will happen in the future? style, and has an unsure/ hopeful sound to it, that goes good with the lyrics. The chorus is definetely a higlight and especially the last one that is a bit slower is very nice!

But now I'm going to talk about the video:

The video begins with a sandglass.. and the sand is going backward, it goes up.

I have to say that I really like the backwards theme here! Originally the girls were doing everything backwards, but it was turned so that it is the right way. This is pretty awesome, because it was probably very hard for the girls to remember the dance steps and the lyrics backwards.. xD
The solo shots and the individual scenes are also very beautiful and I love the concert scenes!!

All in all I think this is a pretty amazing single release and shows what SKE48 reached until now. It's also a nice last single for Yuria and I guess it will be treasured as the last SKE single before the shuffle.
