Like every year it's almost time for AKB48's Senbatsu Sousenkyo! This year is called Sekai Senbatsu Sousenkyo, because the overseas sister groups were eligible to join this election.That's really interesting and a smart move from management to earn even more votes/ money. I'm excited to see if some overseas members will make it in the end!
But let's concentrate ont the most important thing for me: Voting for my favourite member.
Since I'm in Germany this year, I was just ordering one copy of Teacher Teacher (the single that includes the voting ticket).
I got only one vote, but I obviously used it for Matsui Jurina:
I really really want to see her win this year. Sasshi and Mayuyu aren't participating anymore which means Jurina has the biggest chance to win since the first election. Adding to that, it's her 10th year anniversary, so it would be even more special for her to win. AND the Election takes place in Nagoya.. Come on, what better time to win than this year?! I don't want another 'kuyashii'. I want her to win!!
The only really dangerous other competitor for number 1 would be Miyawaki Sakura. She has a big fanbase and seems to get more popular every year. Ogino Yuka may also jump into the top3 this year. She placed first in the prelims again, which imo is amazing!! I wish her the highest rank possible, even though in my dream senbatsu Oda Nana and Suda Akari would be right behind Jurina and Sakura.
As you can see, I'm really pumped for this election. I'm excited to see an absolutely new center this time; hopefully Jurina *fingers crossed*.
