I am writing about my last Morning Musume '17 Handshake Experience.

It was again at Shibuya Belle Sale First on 2017.05.28. 

This time I met quite a few of the member so it was busy, but a lot of fun!

I can't lie, I didn't really know what I would talk about with Haachin. But she was very sweet and I just wanted her to know that I really enjoyed her performance at Budokan. It's helpful that I recently went to a concert before this Event! :)

The handshake with Duu was too short.. I would have given so much to meet her again and for a longer time. But I'm so glad I got to meet her again!

Morning Musume '17 Handshake and Cheki Event at Shibuya Belle Salle 2017.03.05 (and 03.19)

I know this is more than a year late, but I still want to talk about my experience of going to a Morning Musume event in Japan. I was very lucky to win the chance to take two pictures with Kudo Haruka, and I also got to shake hands with some of the members.

The event took place on March 5th 2017 in Shibuya. I still remember being really excited about meeting my favourite Idol. I was dreaming about this moment for a long time. I was so excited, that I could just think of one pose that I wanted to do.. The second pose I was still not sure and I thought about just being spontaneous or asking her what she wants to do. Even though she would probably just say peace sign anyways..

So I arrived at the event, waited for the ticket controll, entered the hall, had the security check me and waited in Kudo Haruka's line. Okay, so everything went soooo fast, I remember not really caring about my surroundings so then it was finally time for me to meet Kudo Haruka. I had to show my ticket and because I was so excited I gave the security guy my two tickets. But he said I can only use one at a time.. oops. He also asked me which pose and I said: Kabe-don! I entered the booth (still with the second ticket in my hand, oops) and there she sat. She looked a bit tired but really beautiful and she was all smiling nicely at me. I think I said something like: I like you so much!, but for the most part I just looked at her. So she did the kabe-don and the picture looks like this:

I mean, who didn't have the dream of getting Kabedon from Duu? hahaha
After watching Lilium this was a must have! Even though she looks way too cute in the picture, this is just so so so great! And I was so happy to finally meet her!
But it felt like two seconds and I already had to leave again and get my picture.. Way too fast.

But I still had my second ticket. I lined up again and thought about what to say and do next. I thought about how much I love Sexy Cat no Enzetsu and how the cat pose is really cute too. After the kabe-don I was too scared to ask her for an Ikemen pose, and I rather wanted to do something funny.
When it was my turn, I told the security guy that I wanted to do the Neko-pose.
I went inside and we took this picture:

Haha, she's so cute but again I couldn't really talk to her, because everything was sooo fast! Still a nice experience, and I have two really precious pictures!!

After the Cheki's, I also went for a few Handshakes. This day it has been only 3, so here are my reports:

First, I met Harunan. I was quite excited, because she would be my first Momusu handshake and I love her so much. And wow, she is soooo beautiful in real life and I have the feeling she is just a really nice and funny person!

Me: I love you! You are so stylish and I liked your photobook!
Harunan: Really? Thank you a lot!! Please come again!
Me: I want to go again.
Harunan: Your Japanese is really good.
Me: Oh, thank you!!

This was a really nice handshake and wow Harunan is so lovely! I was really happy to meet her, even though at first I felt a bit awkward talking to her. But

Next, I met Duu. I already met her before for the Cheki's, but I was still soooo nervous.
I was really early at her booth, so I was like the 3rd person, hahaha.. I was exactly at that position, where the security is checking each person. So.. the nice security lady started talking to me. She asked where I'm from and stuff like that and she was just really really nice!! I did feel a bit more relaxed afterwards which was really nice!!

When I saw Kudo, I immediately noticed that she was wearing glasses now. She looked really cute and we were matching because I was also wearing glasses (as you can see in my pictures).

Me: Hello, I'm so happy to be able to meet you. You are my favourite member!
Duu: Thank you. I'm really happy about that. Where are you from?
Me: I'm from Germany!
Duu: Wow, Germany!
Me: I love you
Duu: Thank youuuu

And again, handshakes are simply way too fast. But at least I could say more than when I took pictures with her. She wasn't the most energetic but she seemed genuinely happy. And I don't know, it was just so nice to meet her and tell her that I'm her fan!

Last, but not least I was meeting Yokoyama Reina. She just joined Morning Musume, so I didn't know what to expect but I really wanted to meet her!

Me: Hello, I'm really happy you are in Momusu!

She seemed also a bit nervous, since this was one of her first handshakes.. maybe I was her first foreigner handshake, who knows (hahaha).
She was really really small and adorable and made a nice first impression on me. I would kind of want to meet her again now, because now that she's over her shyness she is simply the most hilarious girl ever xD

Looking back at the event now, I'm just so happy I could meet Kudo Haruka, but also Harunan and Yokoyan. It was a special event and even though really nervous and kind of awkward, it made me really happy. Especially now, since Kudo graduated from the group. I still got to meet her two times more, but the first time meeting her felt the most special.

This day I only went to Shibuya for one picture, so everything was quite fast.
But I got to take a picture with Iibuko Haruna, Ishida Ayumi, Kudo Haruka and Oda Sakura!!
This time I went for the heart pose and they were all so happy and cute. Especially Harunan was quite excited to see me.

I think this is my favourite picture with Idols. Not only is it with 4 of my favourite members, everyone looks really cute and I love the heart pose!!
I'm just really so happy to have meet these loevely girls and to have this special memory with them. :)

Best of 2017: Hello!Project

This year a lot happened in Hello!Project. From °C-ute disbanding to Kudo Haruka's graduation, Tsubaki Factories major debut and some other graduation and promotions. There have been a lot of single and album releases, concerts and events, even I could attend some of these.
So let's talk about all the groups individually, starting with the one group that doesn't exist anymore:

°C-ute

With this group having their last activities together it has been a quite nostalgic and sad beginning of the year. They released one last Best-Of album and their last single. Especially Final Squall has been a really bittersweet goodbye song. I managed to go to two concerts, including their last concert, which ahs been awesome and sad at the same time. But I am really really happy I got the chance to see them live. I also went to Suzuki Airi's birthday event together with a friend who is Airi fan as well. I have some beautiful memories of this group and I'm so happy to see them all going their own way!
Forever °C-ute!!

Morning Musume '17

Momusu had an awesome year. With 13th gen finally participating in promotions and Chisaki (14th gen) being added in summer there have been a few new faces.They released two singles and an album with soem awesome music! I especially liked BRAND NEW MORNING, Jealousy Jealousy, Wakaindashi and some tracks from the album like CHO DAI. One downside was Maachan being sick in the beginning of this year and not participating in single and concert promotions until march. Still, she came back as energetic as ever and the whole groups performance level was pretty high! The biggest shock was Kudo Haruka's graduation announcement and her actual graduation this month. That was really hard for me at first but now I just want her to be happy on her own. I'm just so glad I got to meet her in person and also see this group's concerts. Since I met almost every member at handshake events I feel really happy to be a fan of this group and despite my favourite member leaving, I'm looking forward to what they will be doing soon.

Angerme

Angerme released only two singles this year, both have been pretty solid with my favourite song being Ai sae areba nan ni mo iranai. They had succesfull live tours and two members, Kawamura Aano and Funaki Musubu, were added to the group in summer. I also got to see them live in concert and they have been really amazing! After °C-ute disbanding, Angerme's leader Wada Ayaka has also been promoted to H!P leader. I think she is an awesome leader and I wish her all of luck for that and hope she won't be graduating soon. The only downside this year was not hearing about Aikawa Maho. She was one of my favourite members and I would be happy to see her back but of course her health is more important and I just hope she will be healthy and happy again.
Update: Maho now left the project and while I'm really sad about that I wish her all the best for her future!

Juice=Juice

This group made quite a big impact this year. Releasing their 9th single, some digital songs and their first digital single Fiesta Fiesta, which is my absolute favourite of them, they have been doing quite weel. Danbara Ruru and Yanagawa Nanami were both added to this group and even though I didn't expect that at all, they make a great addition. Starting from September they also went on a World Tour and I got to see them live in Germany. That was a really nice experience and they are a really strong performance group. I got to like Danbara Ruru a lot this year, starting from her still being in Kenshuusei so I am looking forward to her growth in this group.

Country Girls

So Country Girls has been kinda confusing this year. Until Momochi's graduation in June they released only one single and I especially liked Peanut Butter Jelly Love from it. The graduation was sad and togetehr with °C-ute she has been the last member of the Hello Project kids. From summer on, Country Girls have kind of been on anhiatus though, with Morito, Yanagawa and Funaki being added to other groups as well and Yamaki and Ozeki concentrating more on their school life. They still appeared on some concerts and released digital songs but haven't been active that much since summer.

Kobushi Factory

Unfortunately this group released only one single this year and had three members leaving, making it not a really good year for them. Fuji, Ogawa and Taguchi all kind of had scandals and the whole thing only happaned in the span of a few months so I feel like it's really strange. The remaining 5 members are giving their best though and it can only go up from now on and I'm looking forward to their next activities.

Tsubaki Factory

Tsubaki had the best year of all the groups in my opinion. they have been a rising group from the beginning of this year. With the major debut and awesome first single with all three songs being simply prefect to their second, also strong single and a lot of live performances and events. They even got to win two Best Newcomer awards with rounds up such a successfull year for this group. I couldn't be more happy and proud of them and I just hope they will continue like this!


Hello!Project Kenshuusei

With some promotions and the annoucement of a new group it has also been a good year for the Kenshuusei's. They got featured more in Hello Project Station, in concerts etc. The highlight of this year was definitely Inaba Manaka returning to the Kenshuusei's, being leader of The Hello Project Kenshuusei Hokkaido group. I'm really happy she's back! :D

As you can see this has been a roller-coaster year for the project with so many things going on. With a new year starting soon I'm excited for what's going to happen in the future.


Top 10 songs

10. Gobaku ~We can't go back~

Performed by Ichioka Reina, Danbara Ruru, Kawamura Ayano, Takase Kurumi and Kiyono Momohima. This song was first performed at H!P's Sumemr concert Tour and later released digitally. I really like this song and it's all about sending messages to the wrong person which is hilarious! I would love to see this line-up again even though it's unlikely since they are added to different groups.


9. Seishun Say A-HA

Another concert song which was then released on Morning Musume's 15th album. This song is literally pumping up the audience and I'm really happy I could listen to it live three times and now it's released. It's also special as it has no solo lines but that makes it sounds really different and I love the dance.


8. Peanuts Butter Jelly Love

My favourite Country Girls song because it's just so lovely and it's kind of like Momochi's goodbye song. I love the cutesy Idol sound of this group so much.


7. Uruwashi no Camellia

Part of Tsubaki Factory's first single, this song has a really nostalgic sound and I'm simply in love with it. The members are so charming and I also love the style of the video.


6. BRAND NEW MORNING

This is such a badass song and I'm just so happy about this epic debut song for Kaedy and Yokoyan. Everyone sounds and looks so cool, definitely a song to remember!


5. Final Squall

My favourite song of °C-ute's last single. This sond is really good and I love how they used different dances of their old songs for Final Squall. I also tried to dance it and even though it's quite hard it's still so much fun.


4. Hatsukoi Sunrise

Tsubaki's debut also had this amazing song that just makes every concert reall exciting!


3. Jealousy Jealousy

Most fun song of Momusu, a nice mix of a beautiful song with nice vocals and a fun rap part. Also my favourite Karaoke song!


2. Fiesta Fiesta

Best Juice=Juice song of the year! I'm so happy to see this live too, because this song is full of energy and amazing performance skills, topped by the best vocals of everyone.


1. Wakaindashi

Duu's graduation sing is also my favourite song of 2017. It's just such a happy and upbeat song and I simply love Duu's solo parts and the members all just having fun and loving each other. It warms my heart to listen to this song



Top 8 members

8. Makino Maria

Maria has really impressed me the last two years. She is getting better and better in singing, dancing and her energy in performances is top quality. It is just so nice to see her having fun and I also think has a great personality and great humour! Adding to that she is really tall and beautiful.

7. Danbara Ruru

Ever since the beginning of this year Ruru has caught my eye. When she was still a Kenshuusei she had awesome performance skills and seeing her with Juice=Juice just exceeded my expectations. She is so talented and fun to watch and on top of that she is an absolute cutie!

6. Kaga Kaede

Kaedy has been in Momusu only one year but I was already following her when she was still a Kenshuusei, and she was my favourite. She has a great voice, really fierce dancing and acting skills and I like my tall&short haired girls!!

5. Kishimoto Yumeno

Another short haired-beauty! Kishimon has also improved so much over this year. With Tsubaki's major debut and her getting more confidence it already feels like she is a real star!!

4. Oda Sakura

Queen of singing and performance. When she's on stage she is shining like a star and is an absolute diva. Off stage she is the sweetest and nicest human being possible and needs to be protected at all costs!

3. Wada Ayaka 

Leader of H!P, leader of Angerme. Queen of Arts! Wada Ayaka herself is a piece of art and looking at her having fun on stage it just really makes me happy. She is also such a sweet person, being nice and welcoming to every member ad having simply a great personality.

2. Sato Masaki

Maachan is crazy.. but at the same time she is just normal, she has her own kind of system and she is really clever. I really like how she changed over the years, she not only improved her singing and performance skills.. she also created her own kind of style and it's so amazing to watch!

1. Kudo Haruka

Last time I will be able to include her in something like this. But I wanted to tell you again that Kudo Haruka is/ was my favourite Idol of H!P! She may have graduated now but she brought me so much joy over last few years and loved her as a performer, a singer and definitely as an actress. I really only wish the best for her!!


Special Mention:

Suzuki Airi

Maybe I told you how it was always hard for me to pick a favourite in °C-ute.. it always felt like the all belong together. But Suzuki Airi is just simply amazing and to me she was something like the perfect Idol.. maybe even more than that, because she really has everything: the voice, the performance skilly, the looks and the personality. She's so funny yet so fierce on stage and I really need to honour her for that.


So that's it for my Hello Pro rewind post! All the groups have been doing pretty good and even though there have been some sad events too, I'm really looking forward to 2018!!

Kudo Haruka's graduation

On December 11th Kudo Haruka graduated from Morning Musume '17 on their tour final in Budokan. She is the first member of 10th generation to graduate the group and the first person to graduate in over 1 1/2 years. After 6 years of being active in Morning Musume and 8 years in Hello!Project, she graduated at the prime age of 18 years to pursue an acting career.

How do I say this.. with her being my favourite Idol not only in Morning Musume but also in general I'm still having mixed feelings about this graduation. I still kind of did not realize that it really happened and that time has passed so fast. Kudo announced her graduation 6 months ago when I was still in Japan.. and now I am back in Germany and I could only follow her graduation on the Internet. On one hand it's really sad I couldn't be in Japan around this time to send her off probably. But on the other hand, I kind of got to distance myself a bit from the whole issue to not be so emotionally about it. I'm still really emotional, don't get me wrong. But I came to accept it and I enjoyed her time as an Idol a lot!

This is not about me though, It's about Duu. Leaving the Idol world at such a young age is a really damn brave thing to do and I respect her a lot for it. She didn't even graduate High School yet and she spent almost half her life as an Idol. She has been fairly succesfull as an Idol and she experienced her group getting more popluar.. so did she herself. She got to practice singing, dancing, modelling and had so many chances to try interesting jobs in the entertainment industry. One of that was acting in Musicals, which definitely paved her as a person and her dream for the future: She wants to become an actress now. Having so much experience in acting it makes perfect sense to see her going into that direction. Being able to practice as a variety of different roles she already has a lot of experience. And even though I do think she will having struggles and still a lot more to learn I'm positive about her future career and I think she will really be doing her best in everything. I really like how she sticks to something, gives her best but never gives up! I rather hope she won't be too strict on herself since she can be quite a perfectionist. Still, she has a lot of conficence which is something really important in the entertainment world and something I admire her for.

Of course we don't actually know everything about her and maybe the real Duu is actually different from Idol Duu. I got to think a lot about that lately and Maa-chan's blog post got me to think even more about it. Cause yeah, actually Idols are all humans too and they have secrets, sides of them that they don't show. We don't know.. but that's also something quite exciting.
Speaking about Maa-chan, I really liked the whole 10th generation bond, but especially MaaDuu. They were sticking together and even though they had some ups and downs for me they feel like these sisters, best friends or school comarades that alwas got to be together even after they fight. I do wonder how their relationship will change from now on and it got me kind of scared.. Well, but it's their issue and they got enough attention on them for the last 6 years. I will miss this pairing a lot though, funny Maachan and Duu have been always so nice to watch. Since we kind of get to see Idols grow up, especially these two since they have been so young when they joined, the kind of feel like little sisters to me.

Back to Duu, she seemed to be such a nice person, being loved by group members and other Idols alike. When she joined she was called an 'Angel' and she kind of got to have a lot of different characters over time, one of them being the 'cool boy' character. Going from the youngest and cutest girl to a cool boy is still something really funny to me haha. This just shows that she has a lot of sides and maybe it also shows her acting talent. But honestly, she is such a fun person and she just rocks on stage. There's so many things I like about her and I could go on about how I loved at concerts, how I even got to meet her in person, which is one of my best memories of her! Meeting her was such an awesome experience and I will never forget how exciting and happy I was at that moment! I have so many nice memories of being a fan of her and meeting other fans, also other Idol fans was also really, really cool.

I guess it's time to wrap up this post. I apprechiate everything Kudo Haruka has done so far and I really can't wait to see her as an actress in the future! I'm looking forward to her activities and also to what Mosning Musume will look like without her.

I have to say that I reall reallylike this single. Not only the design and the outfits, I like everything! The three songs are also quite different, which is interesting. Jama Shinaide Her We Go! is a bit darker and has some nice beat. Everyone sounds so confident in this song and I love it a lot. Dokyuu no Go Sign is a real fun song and the break reminds me of a Disney song haha. I like this song a lot too, even though I have to admit that I prefer the other two songs. It must be really good at concerts though.. And lastly, Wakaindashi is just a perfect graduation song for Duu! I talked about it before and it's still my favourite song. I love it so much and I still have the ''What can I do? DO'' parts stuck in my ead really often.

So yeah, Kudo Haruka's last single has been really exciting and I wonder if this can be topped by some other line-up.. I'm still excited for future Momusu too though.
Aaaand for now I'm really looking forward to the 15th album..
And soon it's gonna be graduation time!

Morning Musume says goodbye to Kudo Haruka with Wakaindashi

Guess who's back from not writing for almost 2 months. I'm really sorry, my last few months in Japan have been soooo busy! But I finished writing this important review and I won't let Kudo Haruka's last activities as an Idol being uncommented by me!!

Today I'm going to talk about the song and video Wakaindashi, which is part of Morning Musume '17's new triple A-side single. I also serves as Kudo Haruka's last single and this song in particular is centered by her. I thought I wouldn't be ready for Duu's graduation single, but I am hyping it a lot now and I decided to enjoy the most out of it! Especially this song is special and I really wanted to talk about it!

Wakaindashi is quite different to other Morning Musume songs, it sounds really special 

The instrumentals are so bubbly and so much fun, I love these parts so much. The whole song is just so uplifting and I just love that it is a happy song instead of a sad song. I mean its the last time with this line-up so I rather want a happy sng for them.. and for Duu. Cause she deserves a great goodbye and a happy final song is so nice to see. She got quite a lot of solo lines and may I tell you how amazing the ''What can I do?'' ''DO!'' parts are! I mean, one of her nicknames IS Duu/ Do, so I'm in love with all the members ust screaming DO. I can't even describe how happ I was when I heard it for the first time! And Duu singing in English is really funny! The lyrics in general are so beautiful and I love the concept of 'I'm young and I have my own dream and wanna do so many things'. It's really forward-looking and it fits Duu a lot.. cause she IS young haha xD

It is also Chisaki's first single as a Morning Musume member. Even though the (and my) focus in this song is more on Duu, I really like her in the group and I'm happy she joined!

Aww this video was simply great! I love the happy concept and all the members were having so much fun in all the bus scenes and in the end when everyone was hugging Duu (and touching her face). But seriously, this was really well made and it was really emotional. Of course I cried when I first saw this video, especially the 10th gen scenes. Seeing Duu crying also gets me evrytime and her moments with all the members were so precious. I'm especially happy to see so many MaaDuu scenes and Akane also must be so happy to share a lot of scenes with her favourite Idol.. I am too, this was really nice to watch. The dancing scene was shafted because of all the other scenes.. I don't really mind because I prefer seeing all the members interacting with each other! But the dance is also really cute and I love it when they form DO.. Especially since 10th gen is the O.. *-*
The white outfits are so so and I definitely prefer the casual clothes in all the other scenes. But, Duu looks like an Angel and everyone is really beautiful in all the scenes so I don't mind at all!

Seeing this as Duu's graduation song I'm really happy about all the spotlight or rather about showing how much everyone loves her.. I think it's a beautiful bye bye and it's true, she is loved by everyone since she is such a nice girl. I really appreachiate the effort for actually showing it in this video.
All in all I simply love this song and video and I'm so happy to see such a nice interaction with Duu in her last video.. everyone is glowing and it makes me realize that my favourite Idol is really graduating in a few months.. But I will enjoy her activities until the end and of course I am also excited for both her career after this and about the new Morning Musume.

But I won't ever be as excited for a new single the way I am now.. Even if I find a new member it will be different. I realized that and it made me quite emotional.

I'm positive, and I love Kudo Haruka and Morning Musume!

...but let me cry now x'D
