As I already mentioned in my review of Tokyo Girls' Style's ''Killing me Softly'' I decided to buy the album. I actually recieved it shortly after the release but I didn't have the time to do an unboxing.
So yeah, I will show you how the regular edition of TGS new album looks like:
This is the front cover and I have to admit, it's very beautiful. The girls look like dolls and I like the clock and the other things behind them.
This is the back with the clock again. It's interesting that the other things like the chair and the pictures fell down here.. And on the left we can see the tracklist.
The clock follows everywhere! But I like that CD design.
Stuff I can't use in the booklet. Yeay..
Aside from the lyrics, there are two pictures of everyone, which is nice.
I have to say I REALLY like the quality of the booklet. It looks nice and it's not some cheap paper but beautiful photo paper. *-* Okay, it's hard to get it out from the CD, but it's still so nice.
Here is the tracklist of the regular edition:
- Intro
- Killing Me Softly
- pain
- Unmei (運命)
- Partition Love
- Chiisana Kiseki (ちいさな奇跡)
- Renai Etude (恋愛エチュード)
- Zutto Wasurenai. (ずっと 忘れない)
- Juujika (十字架)
- Mine
- outro
- Get The Star -Royal Mirrorball Mix-
- Last Forever -Royal Mirrorball Mix-
- [Bonus Track] Tsuki no Kimagure (月の気まぐれ)
- [Bonus Track] Chim Chim Cherry (チム・チム・チェリー)
I really like the singles from this era even though the Juujika album version isn't as good as the single version (why did they change it? -.-) The Royal Mirrorball Mixes are somehow odd but except for that I like every track! I'm surprised that they covered Chim Chim Cherry, but as expected, it sounds good!
I'm a bit biased towards these songs but from a neutral perpective I have to say that many of the tracks sound very similiar. There are of course exceptions, but the same beat is still there. Well, it won't be something new if you know TGS, but I still wanted to mention it.
But yeah, I definetely like this album and you can try to listen to it!
I would recommend the songs Killing me Softly, Unmei, Partition Love, Mine, Tsuki no Kimagure & Chim Chim Cherry but you can obviously skip the two Mirrorball Remixes, as they are pretty boring.
