Nandome no Aozora ka?

On October 18th Nogizaka46 released their 10th single ''Nandome no Aozora ka?''.

I'm still a rather new Nogizaka46 fan and I get really excited, when they release something new. 

After two Nanase-centered singles we are once again abck with a new center! It's Ikuta Erika, who comes back after a little hiatus of a few months. I'm really happy that she gets to center this song, since she a very talented, young girl. (and she once lived in Germany, hehe) Other than that there aren't any exciting line-up changes. I'm a little bit sad that Wakasama was dropped from Jyuu-Fukujin, but that's it.. I just hope Nogizaka46 will continue to change their center, because that's something that really distinguishes them from the 48 groups.

But now onto the song:

Nogi is finally back with a slower song again. Nandome no Aozora ka? is a very beautiful and melancholic song. I really love the beginning with the piano and Erika's voice is very nice and warm. While the verses are a bit sad, the chorus gives a hopefull feeling. I especially like the breakdown before the last chorus, since it's so epic. :3 The lyrics are also awesome, I really like this part:

How many blue skies does this make it now, don’t lose sight of your youth

Even if we live in a day dream, let’s look up from time to time

This song is really, really good and makes me love Nogizaka46 even more!

The video starts with the main character, a boy, who comes to a new school.

The problem is, that there are only girls in this school.

Nanase isn't amused.
Naachan: WTF is he doing here?

His friends seem to be jealous of him. They are all like: That's so cool!

But our main character isn't happy..
I will just call him Jin. :D

That was a really cute and funny video! It was of course a bit sad to see the boy being all alone and stuff. But the end was relaly cool and I like how they all became friends. :D But somehow, the video doesn't really fit the song. It's okay, but I don't know, I expected a more sad and dramatic video like ''Kidzuitara Kataomoi''.
Anyways, this is a very nice release, I also like the B-sides!!

As for the Nogi album that will be released in January, I don't think I will buy it. There are almost no new songs, and I already own half of their singles.. But I'm still excited to see them releasing their 1st album!! :D
