Oshiete Mommy, Sailor Zombie and 47 no suteki na machi e

After reviewing all of the election songs from AKB48's 37th single ''Kokoro no Placard'', there are still a few extra B-sides left, that I will review in this post.

First of is the song Sailor Zombie by the sub-unit Milk Planet, consisting of Watanabe Mayu, Yokoyama Yui and Iwata Karen. This song served as the opening for the Idol-Drama of the same name starring Owada Nana, Takahashi Juri and Kawaei Rina as the main characters. I only watched the first 5 episodes, because honestly it was a bit boring. But yeah, they chose to make a video for the opening song, and include it in mayu's single, so here we are.
Sailor Zombie is a normal AKB pop-song and I like the chorus. I dont really the verses though and as a whole it isn't really such a special song.. It does kind of fit the series. I'm not really the biggest fan of Mayu's voice, but I think Karen sounds really good. Yuihan is also okay, but of course Mayu has the most solo lines.. The Mayu domination continues. ;)
Here are a few screenshots of the video:

Here are the three girls.

Mayuyu

Yuihan

And Karen. :)

Then there are some scenes of the drama.
This was the best part, thb. Mion looks pretty cool as a giant zombie!

The main three girls: Juri, Nana and Ricchan.

At the end of the video, Karen, Mayu and Yui transform into Zombies, too!

And they are dancing as Zombies, yeaay..

Yuihan.

Mayu.

And Karen.
And that's it. Not the biggest fan of the video, so yeah..

Next we have the second B-side of Type D: Oshiete Mommy. This song was used in the CM for Papico with Otona AKB member Tsukamoto Mariko. I liked Mariri in the few AKBingo episodes she was in, and it was sad to see her go. But it would have been odd to keep a 38-old woman between teenagers and young adults, haha. xD Besides her, the song is sung Mayuyu (again xP), Paruru, Ricchan, KojiMako and Owada Nana.
I really like Oshiete Mommy. It's just such a fun song and it's sooo catchy. Mariri's voice does fit into such an Idol song, she has a very young voice. I especially love the part, where they all are singin: Nee, Mommy. So cute *-*
So yeah, I really love the song. One thing: Mayuyu is really dominating in this single! :'D
I also took a few screenshots of the video:

A group shot. Aaaw, Paruru is soo cute. *-*

That's Mariri. She looks pretty young for a 37-year-old. :o Well, it's Japan after all.. xD

Of course, Mayuyu appears next.
Mayu: Deal with it!

And Paruru is the cutest. ^-^

It's nice to see Ricchan, she's also very cute. :D

Mako also looks nice as always. :)

And cutie Nana.

Next generation aces everywhere! xD (though I wouldn't count Mayu as a next generation anymore, and even Paruru is established as a top member..)
And Paruru is cuuuute.

But the video was shot shortly after the handshake incident, so Ricchan is trying akwardly to hide her right hand.. Well, at least she's better now. :)

Seems like Mariri is really acting like a mother in this video. Which is pretty cute and does fit the song. :)

Lol, they are just having fun! xD

A sleepover with the mother. xD

Wow, that's pretty cute! :3

And the ending pose.
This was a really cute video. I totally loved it, especially the interactions between Mariri and the other members.. :)

And last but not least, I will talk about the Theater edition song ''47 no suteki na machi e'' by Team 8. This is the first original song of Team 8, so let's talk a bit about them.
They are also part of a CM campain with AKB and toured through Japan since they are sponsored by Toyota as the ''Idols, that come to meet you'' (Opposed to AKB's motto ''Idols you can meet''). Since there's one girl from every prefecture, there are 47 girls (they were 48, but one girl left.. So it's odd that one prefecture isn't represented in the song but anyways..). That's a very big number, so I didn't really bother to learn anything about them. No one really stuck out to me..
But lately I've started to like them, their AKBingo appeareances helped. :)
They are a bunch of very, very cute girls and they have so much potential! Everyone keeps saying how they are so much better about the draft members. And I have to agree, in terms of skills the Team 8 members are really good. The Drafties are still lagging behind the normal team members, but Team is fully blooming into a nice team.. Which makes me wonder if some girls or rather how many girls will stay after the campain ended. I really hope some of them will, since there are some awesome girls.
Nakano Ikumi seems to be the most popular/ the ace. She was even chosen for the 38th single senbatsu as the only Team 8 representive. That's pretty good! And this also gives me hope, that they will keep the girls.
My own Team 8 favourite for now is Yamada Nanami. She really impressed me in the latest AKBingo episode, where she had to create a song and sing it. She's a talented girl! Another girl is Hamamatsu Riona, who I don't really know that much about. But she lived in LA, can speak English fluently and did dance-covers on a youtube channel before!! That's pretty cool and she's a very nice dancer..
So now that I have two favourites, I really hope they will stay in AKB! :D

But finally about the song (I talked more about Team 8, then I intended to, sorry).
47 no suteki na machi e is a very high-energy song and is perfect for the Team because of that!! :D
I like it, and it's also cute how every girl is shouting their prefecture at the end. ^^
So yeah, it's a really nice song.
Since there's no video  for this song, I took a few screenshot of the AKBingo performance:

This is of course the ace, Ikumin!

She does look very cute!
And the minion, too. xD (i know, it's Nagano Serika)

Other members, too. Well, it's hard to take screenshots of such a low quality video.

And the end position.
Yep, these girls are very cute. Let's hope they will have a great future. :D
