Tamura Meimi's graduation announcement

Yesterday at Angerme's Christmas event it was announced that Tamura Meimi will leave the group and Hello Project in Spring next year to become a Musical actress.

WHAAAAAT??????

OMG..

But seriously, what's with all the graduation announcements lately?

Tamura Meimi is a second generation member of Angerme (S/mileage). She has been the youngest member for a long time and is still only 17. At first I only considered her to be an annoying little kid, but I really learned to love her over time. She grew up and now actually seems to be more mature than most older people. One of the best things about her is her voice. Meimi definitely has the best voice in Angerme and is a pretty darn awesome performer. She's also very good at acting, so I would say she's an all round talent. And that's actually why, even though this announcement made me cry and is really sad, I can understand why she wants to graduate. Meimi is simply too good to be an Idol. Or rather, being an Idol doesn't help her with what she wants in her future anymore. It's probably stopping her a bit, so she needs to change her environment. 

Still, I'm shocked to see one of H!P's best voices and most interesting members to leave. Let's hope we will still see a lot of her after her graduation. But until then I hope she enjoys her last few months in the group. :)

Kashiwagi Hinata being diagnosed with sudden deafness

It was announced yesterday that Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku's member Kashiwagi Hinata was diagnosed with sudden deafness on her right ear. Because of this she will stop all her activities until at least January..

When I first read this, I was just really, really shocked. I thought she was fully deaf on one ear, so I guess you can understand why.. I really thought she wouldn't be able to hear again. The bad thing about a group not being part of 48 or H!P is, that it takes a while until you can get any English information on something. I did some research on Japanese sites and to my relief it looks like this isn't a permanent deafness. There's a pretty good chance of her being able to fully recover again.

But this made me think about actually getting deaf.. This incident made me really emotional somehow.. And it shows once again that Idols are just human beings who can get ill just like every other person. This was just something I haven't heard someone getting before..

And just imagine, you could never listen to music anymore.. Just, just.. I can't imagine that. And especially for someone like Hinata, who is part of a group that sings it would probably be one of the worst things to ever happen. I'm still not really sure, if or when she will come back as a singer, but I just hope she will recover from this!

She has the best voice in Ebichu, so it would be sad to lose her. But she needs to take a break now and hopefully she will be back soon! :)

Idol Heaven

Not only did Miyazawa Sae announce her graduation on the FNS Special on December 6th. There was also a very big Idol collaboration. The 48groups, some Hello Project groups (Momusu, C-ute and Angerme), some Stardust groups (Momoclo, Ebichu and Syachihoko) and Nogizaka46 (with a little appearance of Keyakizaka46) were all dancing and singing together!!!

As a fan of all these groups (well, I still don't really know Keyakizaka46 though) this made me really happy. I am in heaven because of this!! Loving different Idol Groups is already awesome, but the best thing is when they meet up and have like cross overs and stuff. 

The best thing, all the groups were shown. I saw so many members! Of course, AKB and Momoclo got the most spotlight, but Momusu  and Nogi were also shown a lot. To my surprise they even placed C-ute and Angerme members pretty high, which is awesome! 

I love that they chose songs from the different groups (mostly AKB, Momusu, Momoclo and a Nogi song) and that the line-up and clothes were changing all the time.

One of my highlights was definetely Love Machine. H!P members and AKB48 were singing it together and especially Momusu was shining so much.

Sasshi is actually a really big fan of Idols, of Momusu and of Maachan and Riho. SO this must have felt like the best day in her life.

She even took a picture with them. Damn, they are all so cute!! *-*

And since Duu has the ending 'Love Machine' part, she was singing it together with Sasshi and Yukirin. Just look at this!!!! She between the two most popular members of the 48groups based on this years Sousenkyo!!! And she's so chill xD

Well, but all the performances were pretty good and it was lovely to see the members interact with each other! They were all looking so happy and it's nice to see so many good reactions from this. I really hope they will do something like this again!!!

Another awesome name combination: Ebichu's Aiai and Angerme's Aiai.. The are so cute and it's cool how they are also the same age.

She auditioned for S/mileage in the past, so this must be somethign very special for her. Now I'm a bit sad she didn't get into to the group back then.. but she's so cool in Syachi, so it's ok..

It was awesome to see how especially the H!P members are so respected by the other groups. Sasshi, Miichan and Milky must've been especially happy. I've also seen some aswesome possible collaborations.
