Makino Maria Birthday Event 2017

This post comes a bit late, but I wanted to write about my experience at Makino Maria's birthday Event. Since I joined the H!P fanclub back when I arrived in Japan, I thought to apply for a few concerts and events before and I won some but there were also some events I didn't win (C-ute's christmas Event for example *cries*). Since I really liked Maria lately (especially since I went to the Momusu concert), I thought why not apply for her birthday event.. she is really funny so this should be a fun event. AND I WON A TICKET!! Yeayyy.

So this was actually the first fanclub event that I attended! I was a bit worried if everything would work out, because you don't get a real ticket, you have to print out a mail and show your H!P ID and a real ID. The event was in Odaiba on the 4th of February so I went there. I was actually not thaaaat early this time, because I know everyone had assigned seats and I didnt want to wait in front of the place for like a long time. So I arrived a few minutes before the doors opened and lined up. I think I was the only foreigner and some people were looking at me, hahaha.. maamaa, everything went smooth, I even bought some Maria photos inside and since you had to buy a drink I got some water.
Then I searched for my seat and I still had to wait for an hour, haha.

When it finally started, I was really really excited. At first there was a video from Suzuki Airi, talking about how she made Maria wear the dress, that she wore at her birthday Event last year. Airi was sooooo cute and I was so happy to see her. But then the main person, Maria was coming in. She rolled in haha. MARIAN LOVERIN!!
She did that like 1000 times, but I like it a lot and she is soo funny. And yeah the MC guy really rolled her in, she sat on some chair on a rolling car thingy haha. Then they talked about her turning 16, what she did and stuff. It was really cute and they also talked about the other members. Then they did some games.

First of a Yes or No game, where Maria had to answer the questions with yes or no. For example, one question was: Are there any members, that haven't gratulated you yet. And she said YES!! Haha, I really wonder who it was XD It went on like that and there were some really funny questions.

After that she had to find some things, so she went through the audience to find them. It had to be things with the initials RA, BU, RI and N.. so RABURIN (LOVErin). The N one was really weird and she picked up one guy. And for RI she picked up a little Rikako merch. And then the real Rikako came in. Woohoooo, that was so cool xD I like Rikako a lot and even though it seemed to be a bit awkward at first, it was cool to see her. Since Maria found all the things, she got some Honey food and they both tried it. It seemed to be quite good, haha.

The next corner was a magician guy who read the future for Maria. That one was ok, not as funny as the previous games. He said something about maria getting fat in a few years and then they called her Maria DOUBLE rin which I found really awful. Like, apparently that is Japanese humour but I really hate comments like this. And it is her birthday event, so I wish they could have been a little more uplifting. Ah and one more thing, even if she did gain more weight, there would be absolutely no problem and we should really talk about the beauty standards for Idols.
Anyways, I had to talk about this..

After that she had her live corner, after which there was a video of Mai (and Airi) and they were singing Happy Birthday for Maria!! That was so cute and of course we were joining in as well!!
After everything was over and when going out, Maria was actually standing there and we could wave her! She was sooo cute up close and I was really happy.

The event went over waaay too fast but it was so much fun!!!
I really like Maria's personality, she was so funny and cute. Her interaction with the MC and the fans was really good and I came to like her even more. At first I fell a bit out of place but later I was able to enjoy the event to the fullest and had such a good time!
Maria is just such a cutie and I can't wait to see more of 12th gen and Morning Musume in general.

Rest in Peace Matsuno Rina

As you all may know by now, something horrible happened a few weeks ago.

On February 8th it was announced that Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku's Matsuno Rina has died on the same day. She apparently was at her families house when her condition got worse, she was brought to the hospital and died there. It was announced later that she died because of a cardiac arrhythmia.

When I first read the new on twitter, I couldn't believe it. No, I didn't want to believe it. After I saw the news on TV I realized it is true. Matsuno Rina has died.
I'm still so shocked and sad about this, that I don't even know what to write (I'm really sorry but I am still not able to express my feeling fully). Her dying was so fast and way too early. Rina was only 18 years old and she still had most of her life to live. This happening to one of my Idols hurts a lot and I didn't feel too well because of this. When I sang Ebichu's songs in karaoke, when I watched their videos.. At first I couldn't but then cried.
Seeing tributes for her in every CD shops makes me sad all the time, though it's a really nice gesture to her.
It's so sad to see a human being dying and I wasn't expecting this from any Idol or any person.
I feel especially sad for her family, friends and the members of Ebichu. I'm also sad that I couldn't attend her farewell event.

I still didn't know everything about this group and their members, but Rina seemed to a really happy and always genki person to me and I liked her a lot. I also liked her as a model and she was just so funny. I am missing her a lot and I really don't know how Ebichu will go on after this.

Matsuno Rina, I liked you a lot and I will never forget you.
I hope you rest in peace!
