Yesterday was the AKB48 41st Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo. It was the 7th Election, my personal 3rd election, the 2nd election that I participated in (I voted once again for Jurina) and the first election that I watched with two friends (because I have friends who like AKB now, hehe). I was once again very excited and even though I didn't have a lot of time lately I was still looking forward to this event a lot! With many of the members not participating (most importantly Rena and Kojiharu) there were quite a few places that could be filled.
Up-coming Girls

At the last place we have Aoi-tan. she dropped quite a few places, which makes me sad. :/ Especially since you will see that a LOT of HKT48 members ranked so much higher.

Lemon dropped a lot, too. But she was still happpy that she could rank. the competition really becomes a lot harder.

Yessss, Anna finally ranked. She was pushed a lot but she never gained that much popularity. In my opinion she grew up and is an amazing performer. Anna is probably the best dance in 48group as of right now! And she is still young, so I hope she will continue to shine bright. :)

Higher would have been a bit odd, but this is fine. :) Also, her speech was awesome. Then one of my friends and I were joking: Yo, Acchan will surely come now. And the center is once again Sasshi!!!! And she once again shows that no one has a chance against her (Mayu fans were really special last year). I'm reaaaaaaally happy. Like I already mentioned, Yukirin also deserves a solo center, but Sasshi is just so amazing. :o I mean, look at her votes, she has almost 200,000!! Let's hope management will take her win more serious this year.
So yes, I definetely enjoyed this Sousenkyo. There were a few shocks and a lot of surprises, but it was once again very, very entertaining. :) Well, it's a bit sad that SKE now has more ranked members than AKB, but I'm so happy to see girls like Gorisa ranking. :3
Well, I can see them doing even more rankings by next year tbh...
One of the best things was that the HKT48 members were partying so hard when a member of them (or Tani xD) was announced. That was just so cool to see.
So yeah, I'm already excited for next year. xD
