Honestly, These were the first elections I followed and watched live. I knew about the last and was happy for Yuko but I didn't know many members at that time (but yeah, Yuko was my first favourite ;) ). So, this was a very special event for me and I was really excited. And now, I have to say I enjoyed it sooo much.. I can't even wait for teh next one. :o It's so nerve-wrecking, but at the same time so interesting and fun.. Well, of course there were things I didn't like. What about These guys that commented when the Girls were announced. Seriously, I want to hear the names and not some random People talking!!! But it was kinda nice to have an english dub at the speeches.. :)
But now let's look into the results. First are the Future Girls:

First, I want to mention that there are so much more votes than last year! Even the last one, Yuka, doubled her amounts of votes!! Well it's sad she dropped a place, but at least she's still there..
I'm pretty happy for the rather unknown Girls of SKE (Shiori and Kyoka), the HKT KKS Mio and Meru and of course for the NMB Girls Maa-chun, Akari (^-^) and Shu (OMG, SHU IS CENTER!!).
There's also a graduated member, Hirajima Natsumi, which is pretty awesome!! It's sad that none other of them ranked, but it's cool that she did.. Miorin and Suu-chan ranked a bit higher than last year and Ayaka stayed the same. But of course there are also Girls, that dropped a few places the most notable being Iwasa Misaki. Wtf? She was the Next Girls Center last year and now she's in future Girls?? :o I mean, she has more votes but still, it's pretty bad.. Ran Ran, Sakiko and Ami also dropped and they didn't look pretty happy..

Wow, I'm happy for Oba Mina, that she's stepping up again.. And then we have three members of SKE members here (that didn't rank before!!), Love-tan and Haruppi of HKT48 (see that Aki-p, they are higher than Meru!!) and Fuuko and Keichi from NMB (OMG!!!!! These two!!). Ishida Haruka, Muto Tomu, Tano Yuuka, Nago Mariya and Katayama Haruka all went a few places up. But the most shocking were Mocchi and Amina. Both of them dropped from Under Girls, especially Mocchi. Amina wasn't in the prelimenary results, so this is pretty good, but it's still worse than last year. At least she's kinda happy to be Center for once.. :'D

I'm also pretty happy for the AKB Girls Reinyan, Annin and Rina, especially the last two who never ranked before!! Sakura also raised so much, which is really cool. But of course, here are also members that dropped (together with Oya, who dropped 2 places). They are Rie, Aki, Ume-chan and Mii-chan.. That's sad, because all of them were in sebatsu/ center of Under Girls last year.. I knew Mii-chan would drop, but it's still sad to see it.. Well, at least she's still here. ;)

Well, I really like Sasshi so I think it's a good result. She worked hard and even after her 'scandal' came back to the top and helped building HKT48!!

What shocked me the most was of course Mariko-samas graduation announcement. She even said it will be next month at Fukuoka Dome (her home town)!!!!
Mariko was always a member I respected. (there's a reason she's called Mariko-sama!!) She is the only AKB48 member that came in without any audition. She worked at the theather and gave away flyers. After she wanted to be in AKB48 so badly, the fans voted her in. Now she isn't only one of the talles members but also the oldest and is one of the most fashionablest of all: She even has 'ricori', her own clothing brand. She may not be the best dancer or singer but she's definetly one of the funniest and most entertaining members. She's even called Troll-Mari because she loves to troll the other members. On the other side she's also very nice to her Juniors, she loves to spoil especially Jurina.. She wanted them to come and take her high place. Since she's still on the 5th place, they obviously didn't come..
I can understand her decision, but it's still so sad. And why is it so sudden? Why won't she wait a bit longer until her graduation like all the other popular members are doing?
Well, we can't change her decision...

I'm so looking Forward to the next election.. :D And of course to the next single!!!!
I hope it's an original single with cool b-sides (because the other girls need some good Songs, too^^).
