The video begins with a few rules and descripions of a ''Game''.
The AKB48 members are laughing and walking around.
Then we see Takamina with these awesome earphones and with a collar and a few cords coming from it (from her body?).
Dance Position. Takamina is already doing some sort of dance.
''In your position!''
Okay, so now we see, that the members are playing the game, with Takamina being on the top position. And somehow they are all connected with her through these cords. So I think she controls them all and they are her players.
The actual song finally begins and the dance looks awesome.
Let's start the game...
Takamina with blue eyes. It looks like she is some kind of robot.

K -> Kojima Haruna?
O -> Oshima Yuko?
M -> Maeda Atsuko
A-chan with heavy make-up. But it looks really good. (I can imagine her like that in the UZA video. I almost forgot that she graduated)

Of course, I would choose Mariko, too. I mean, who is as badass as her?? (Sayaka of course..)

And finally Acchan comes out (she was just in the dance shots until now, that was not much for an ace).
And she is pinned to the wall. Without getting to fight before that.
The 'real' Maeda just realised that something happened to her in the Game.
Oh, that must hurt. But this time it's just ''Damage!'' so there is hope that she won't die like the others.
Acchan: Oh no, what happened? My hand hurts!
And the blood drops on her controler..
Yuko: I will save you!
So Yuko saves Acchan.
Awesome dance scene!!
Yuko: *kind smile* At least Acchan will live. Sayonara~
(also the first time someone showed emotions in the video)
Death... That was it..
Fuck, I'm bleeding!
The real Acchan frees herself from that cord thing and steps away...
...and begins to scream like crazy because she can feel the pain now.
When I first watched the video, I was truly shocked by her sudden outburst o.O
Game-Acchan isn't feeling anything.. Pokerface
It hurts so much!!!! AAAAH!!
Now this one starts to scream too.
Then she frees herself from that thing, but sadly loses her hand..
...which gets replaced by a big triangle. Oh yeah, Acchan fight!!
No, you are dead! Just kidding, but that pic is cool.
Acchan: AAAAAAAAHH!!!
Takamina appears again.. She stands up and doesn't want Acchan to defeat that thing. (Because that's her joob)
Acchan: UAAAAAAAAAH! Oops...
And nothing happens...
Jurina: Minna-san, you are all just to old to defeat that thing. xP
Just let an 13 year-old do the hard work ;)
Jurina: AAAAaaaargh!

Yes, together they won! ULTRA HITS!!!
Now, one after another gets free. But they still have no emotions...
Everyone stares at Takamina because she's the only one to have a cord left. OMG so she was controlled all the time, too.
Takamina: Uhm, guys. Why are you all staring at me?
Takamina walks away.
Acchan is somehow disappointed? Hm, I can't really think of an emotion she wants to portrait. (okay no one is really showing emotions)
Yuko hugs Takamina. (I think in this video she is somehow the kind one between all these emotionless people)
And after that the Game is over. And Acchans blood is still on the conroler (I just realized that all the blood was blue, except of her blood... o.O)
Let's save Takamina. Yeayyyy, she's free. :)
And they are still hugging.
Now Yuko kicks the ball...
..that turns back to the camera and destroys is.
What a cool ending, I'm really impressed.
So I have to say, I liked the whole video. The dance was really cool (but it wasn't shown that much).
Most important was the story of the video and it was portraied brilliantly.
Takamina controls all the girl through the cords and let them play for her. The Game-personalities of the girls die one after another. Yuko, being the first one with actual emotions, saves Acchan who is the first one to transmit her game state to the real one. So she wonders what happened and starts to bleed in real life. After Yuko died, Acchan frees herself from Takaminas control and feels the pain of her hand, screaming out loud until even her Game-self starts to scream. She then frees herself in the Game too and transforms her lost hand into a better weapon. With that and the help of another freed member, Jurina, she knocks out the enemy (boxes) helping the other members to break out too, until only Takamina is left. In the end they cut her cord and everyone is free.
Well, I'd like to know WHO controlled Takamina and who exactly was the enemy but nevertheless it was a good story, showing much of Takamina (yeayy). Yuko, Acchan and Jurina were also important. Jurina saves everyone in the end, but only thanks to Yuko and Acchan. I feel a bit sorry for the members who died before that, because their role wasn't that big. But it was worse for Mi-chan and Sassy, because they only got mentioned on weapons. o.O And it was even much worse for the members that wasn't even shown once. (Saee, why~?)
I'm not really happy with the special effects. Most of these looked good, but when someone got killed the part of the body was either was blurred out or it looked unreal. But I'm really happy as for how the break out of the controlled minds was described and how the girls looked and the set was good too.
Overall I have to say that Beginner is a good song with an amazing video that I really enjoyed watching.
