Today I will do a review of the song
'Oh My Wish!' from Morning Musume '15's newest single
''Oh My Wish!/ Sukatto My Heart/ Imasugu Tobikomu Yuuki''.
Morning Musume is once again back with a triple A-side (because why not?).
Oh My Wish is kind of the leading single and the one that got promoted the most. What's really, really interesting about this song, is that we have a dancer and a singer group. The dance group is made up of Riho, Mizuki, Ayumi and Eripon. The rest of the members are singing while those four members are doing a special dance. It's just like with Angerme's
Nana Korobi Ya Oki, and I really like this concept. *-*
But what is even better is that it is centered by Zuukki and Duu. Yep, you heard right!! Two of the members who were pushed to the back the most, are now centering a single!! Well, Duu doesn't surprise me thaat much. She was still pushed, especially the last year. But Zuukki has NEVER been pushed, so it does surprise me a lot. And I'm soooooooooooooo happy for her! Adding to that, those two are my two favourites of this group, so it's a dream come true for me. *-* Woohooooooo

Oh My Wish is still following the usual EDM-sound, but it's a whooole lot better than their last attempt. It's really fast and 'In-yourface', something
Seishun Kouzo ga naiteiru has been missing. It's dramatic, powerful and I really, love the instrumentals. There are little breaks of the singing voices in the verses, but I got used to it and don't think it's annoying (Especially if we compare it to
Seishun).
Of course, I'm also heavily biased by the fact that Duu and Zuukki are leading this song. I love their voices a lot, so it's great to see them shine in this. Besides those two, Sakura and Masaki have awesome solo parts, too. Harunan also has a solo part, which is cool, because she didn't have one since foreeever. And then we have Haachin and Akane who have talking parts towards the end, which is really interesting if you ask me. Would have been nice if 12th gen had some actual solo parts in this though.. But I'm too happy about everything else.. *-*
Now about the video (and feeling special because I own the REAL version):

And here they go..
WOOOOOHOOO!!! Seriously, this is one of their best videos, just because Duu and Zukki are featured SOOO MUCH in it. Damn, those two *-* But I was really surprised, that everyone was shown so much. They all looked so beautiful and confident. Even 12th gen improved a lot from the last single, which is awesome, The dancers were also shown a lot, just not individually. Which is okay, because you should concentrate on the dance. But I was surprised how well Eripon could keep up with the rest. She is definetely the worst dance out of those four, but she has improved over the years and mastered this dance! I do like this concept with two different groups, but I also think they shouldn't always do it. Okay, it was a really nice change to not hear Riho's voice for once. I do like her voice now, but it was really interesting to hear a Momusu without her and the other three.
The location reminded me a bit of
Wagamama Ki no mama Ai no Joke, which is pretty cool. I love those big concert/ theater halls and this one was especially beautiful!
So yeah, I'm really, really happy with this video. The whole single is freaking epic and I hope they will continue puching back-row girls to the front now. Next single Haruna & Eripon center please *-*
