AKB48 in National Olympic Stadium

AKB48 finally did it! They performed at the National Olympic Stadium yesterday with their spring concert tour!

I love how this is concentrated on Yuko's graduation so much. This is her graduation concert and it's amazing that she could be able to be on that stage before her graduation.
Well, sadly her actual graduation didn't happen, because the second day concert today was cancelled. :( It is because of the bad weather in Japan, but seriously this is sooo sad. Not only for Yuko, but also for all the fans who went to Tokyo from far away and also the staff and members, who prepared so much, who practised a long time for this special event. Seems like the earth doesn't want Yuko to graduate either.. xD 
I really hope that this concert will be done there again as soon as possible. Yuko deserves to graduate there!!! And if not there it should be somewhere else..

I have to say that this is a pretty nice setlist. Okay, there are many songs that we heard thousands of times, but there are also songs we didn't hear in a long time (OMG, Confession.. With Jurina *-*). I also think it's cool that there were so many Team songs, as the line-up will change soon. The unit songs were all Yukos unit songs, but that's because of her graduation. i also like how many Team K members were included in them (again, Confession!). Yuko also sang her solo song Nakinagara Hohoende which must have been so freaking sad.
And of course the new summer and election single ''Labrador Retriever'' was performed for the first time. This is the line-up with the new teams:

It's the line-up that we all expected, right? xD okay, I really thought Nako would also be included (lol), and what's with Mariyagi and Abemaru.. Or Tano?? :( Weeeell, we can't change it. And what's with Mayu center? I mean, it would have also been expected if we didn't have that Paruru hint in Maeshika. WTF was that? Aki-p just trolling again?? Mayu, Sasshia nd Jurina.. These are probably the expected Top3 of the election and I have to agree. It may be possible for Jurina to get into Top3. BUT there is still Yukirin. Why is management always forgetting Yukirin? *sigh* I don't think she will step down too soon.. I
Anyways, I'm not too fond of the song yet, I need to listen to it in a better quality before I can really judge it..

The set of the concert also looked amazing! I really love the big teddybear and also that the members were flying. FLYING!!! This must be one of the most epic UZA performances ever.. I also love the costumes, especially the recycled Heavy Rotation costumes. And Yuko coming out of a rock with 'Korogaru Ishi ni nare!' is so badass. I'm looking forward to seeing this concert so much!!
So sad, that the second concert didn't take place, but at least the first day was awesome.

Also, happy 20th birthday, Paruru!!! :D

I think she really improved over the last year, so I hope she will do even better this year!!!!



Can you come back home? - 2NE1

2NE1 released their 2nd album ''Crush'' in February and with it the title song ''Come back home''.

So I haven't been following 2NE1 lately, but I have to say that this song is pretty amazing. Their latest songs weren't that convoncing, but with this song they are finally back being awesome again. ''Come back home'' counts as a rather slow pop song. Especially the beginning sounds sad but there is also a pretty cool break down after the chorus. It doesn't really fit when you listen to it for the first time, but after a few times it fits so damn good. There have been worse songs with several mixed genres.. ;) I'm not the biggest fan of the r&b remix of this song. I mean, I can udnerstand why it's there, but I prefer the normal version. one thing I don't understand: Why is there a short part of the remix in the video after the first chorus (CL's part)? It isn't there in the album but only in the video.. Well, let's take a look at the video now:

Here we see a big city with a billboard that says 'Virtual Paradise'. I guess we will find out what the Virtual Paradise is. ;)

Wow, I'm seriously surprised by the high quality of this video. I also like the story with the whole Virtual world and the 2NE1 members as the revolution against this world. The girls look so badass in this video and again, the quality is AWESOME!! *-*
All in all, i really like this title song + the video. Okay, it isn't their best release, but it is an improvement from last year and it's pretty catchy. The rest of the album is also good. I especially really like CL's solo, it's a pretty damn badass song. So cool! ;D
