Some pretty bad things happened in the K-Pop world lately.
Son Ho Young's girlfriend killed herself and was found in his car.
Because of this, many people said it was his fault. But he said that they just fought a bit, but nothing serious happened.
Then, after her funeral it happened: Son Ho Young tried to kill himself the same way his girlfriend did: through gas poisining in his car. Luckily someone found him before he was dead and he was immediately brought to the hospital where he is now healthy again even though he's still in a pretty fragile state of mind.

He must be under so much pressure and so sad and helpless about her death. He obviously blames himself and didn't know what to do anymore and the reporters don't make it better when they don't leave him alone..
To see a person become so sad and desperate that he doesn't want to be here anymore is always sad. It's no difference if it's a popular person or someone you know better. You don't wish that anyone, not even the person you hate the most. (and if you do you should check your psychology..)

Suicide doesn't solve anything. This is such a heartbreaking Story and I'm so sorry for him. I hope Son Ho Young can still continue on after that and I wish him truly all the best!!

Face to Face

 

KAT-TUN released their new single ''Face to Face'' two weeks ago. I was surprised that they were back so fast. But I was very, very happy, too. And of course it grabbed the number one spot of the the Oricon weekly Charts. I mean, it's KAT-TUN... I hope they will continue selling number one hits.^^

 

This song is probably one of their best songs in a long time. I love the mysterious beginning and the powerful chorus full of emotions. It sounds like they are singing because they are hurt. The lyrics show us, that they are indeed in pain:

 

''As it is, as I am burdened with my destiny, I keep screaming out
My bare, plain heart moves forward towards tomorrow
That's right gazing at each other, aware of one another, believing each other
On my own I'll continue this journey for myself… This story won't end''

I really like the lyrics. Of course it is about love, but there aren't many songs as powerful and meaningful as this about love. There are problems that can appear but you still have to look forward and scream your pain out or something.

 

The video is pretty simple. They tried something new and used wierd Background things when the members are falling or jumping. But look for yourself:

So overall this video is not thaaat great, but it is enjoyable if you like the members and their facial expressions (Junno and Ueda.. xD).
Together with the song it's actually really nice, even though I think a darker video would have fitted more.. Oh, and I miss a dance.. come on, they CAN dance.. Why don't you use that?

Bye, bye Reina

Today was the last concert of Morning Musume's tour in Budokan and that means: Tanaka Reina officially graduated.

This is defenitely the beginning of a new era. And seriously, I'm looking forward to this SOO MUCH! I don't hate Reina or anything, but lately she seemed so bored and I really think it's the right time for her to go now! Brainstorming was such a  good graduation song for her!! (Kimi sae blabla was more like a let down but anyways....) 

I feel like she's ready to leave now and to let a new Morning Musume be able to shine!
But of course it's also a bit sad. She was in the group for more than 10 years, was a regular front girl and changed so much through that time. CHANGE.

To show how much she changed, I decided to post a picture of her from every Morning Musume video, that means from ''Shabondama'' to ''Brainstorming/ Kimi sae ireba nani mo iranai''.
I tried to get good pictures or rather pictures that represent her in the video and worked a bit on them, to make sure they show how Reina was in the videos. So here are the final results:

This took me like forever to do and now I'm tired of seeing this girl. Look at her.. she always makes the same expressions, expecially in the latest releases. When she first started to be a member of Morning Musume, she was a cute, yankee girl and had a very good voice. But then she started to become all glittery (seriously, look at her eyes.. and in concerts it's also her hair!!) and turned into a winky girl (yep, she winks all the time). Honestly, I liked the rebellious girl more!!! I think at the beginning she had something special, something good to look at. But after that she turned into another person and only was normal in some PV's like ''Seishun Collection'' or ''Ren'ai Hunter''. Especially These big bows on her head really annoy me together with her big glittery eyes.
 

I still kinda like her, because she still has something, no one else has. She has a good voice when she tries to sing, she is really funny and she looks good without that much make-up and when she shows her teeth. She also represents the 'old' Momosu for me. I mean the Momosu that I started to know first (with ''Nanchatte Ren'ai''), so when she leaves, only Sayu will be left from that time. It was nice to pay Attention to her in every Music Video she appeared in, because I seriously didn't do that before. I looked at everyone or at Risa or Ai, but Reina wasn't so important for me. So I discovered that she was really cute in the beginning and started to look worse little by little. But there are also some funny sides of her that I found and my urge to review an older Morning Musume video grew bigger.

I think these pictures show us a very funny Reina-san, a side of her that we will miss when she's gone.

So whilst I'm still not her biggest fan, creating this post helped me remember that she is a funny person sometimes and someone that I like to watch sometimes (SOMETIMES!!). I don't think she is the 'perfect' Morning Musume member, but she is a typical one, because she made many transformations and learned new things, changed into a glittering Idol and now graduated to be succesfull with her band.. 

 

I wish you the best, Reina and don't forget: Otsukareina (I hope it looks like her colour)

And now, let's party, because she's gone and we won't see her in anything Momosu related again.. woooohooo~ :D
